He was the Founder President of Aurangabad Navratra Mahasangh. He brought all small Navratri associations together to form this Mahasangh in order to facilitate dandiya and gardba organization around Aurangabad.

He has a keen interest in cultural activities and has contributed largely in bringing great artists like Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam to Marathwada for different shows. In this way, he has created a solid base for artists to perform in Marathwada. His effort to bring good cultural programs to Marathwada has been widely appreciated. The cultural programs that he has organized have all been of different genre and magnitude so that people of Marathwada do not miss out on anything.

He was the first person to host the biggest ‘dahihandi’ competition in Aurangabad. For four consecutive years, he was the President of the Shiv Jayanti celebrations in Aurangabad.

He was also the President of All Party Ganesh Sangh responsible for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations across the city.
